DiskDuo

Disk space, explained

See where your disk went.

DiskDuo scans your Mac in seconds and shows you every byte — nine ways, in colour, all in sync. Then it helps you clear space without ever touching what matters.

Nine views

One scan, seen every way it makes sense.

Every view reads the same scan and keeps the same selection. Pick a folder in the treemap and it is still picked in the sunburst, the list and the map.

Treemap

Area is size. Nesting is folders.

Folders

One level at a time, as cards.

Sunburst

Rings go deeper as they go out.

Flame

Each row is one level deeper.

Bubbles

Folders as circles, packed inside their parents.

Mind Map

Your largest folders as a radial map.

Top Sizes

Heaviest first. Scroll for the rest.

Age Map

When your bytes were last touched.

Outline

Every folder as an expandable list.

Safe by construction

Nothing is deleted until you say so.

You stage what you want gone. You see the list, and what each item is. You confirm. Then it goes to the Trash — never straight off the disk.

Easy wins

Caches, build output, old simulators and downloads you forgot, found for you.

Duplicates

Byte-identical copies, checked to the byte. Clones that free nothing are left out.

Applications

Each app and everything it left behind, with the reason each file was matched.

Monitor

What is growing right now, folder by folder, as it happens.

Private

Your files stay on your Mac.

No analytics. No crash reporting. No account. DiskDuo contacts us to activate your licence and to check for updates — never to report what is on your disk.

Questions

Before you buy.

Does DiskDuo delete anything on its own?

No. Nothing is removed until you stage it, review the list and confirm. Everything goes to the Trash, where you can put it back.

Can it break macOS?

The system folders are blocked outright — not hidden, blocked, in the engine rather than the interface. DiskDuo will not stage them however they are reached.

What leaves my Mac?

Nothing about your files. DiskDuo has no analytics and no crash reporting. It talks to our server to sign you in, to check your licence and to look for updates, and that is all.

How do I buy it?

Download DiskDuo, sign in with Apple or Google, and buy it inside the app. You pay once, it is yours, and every 1.x update is included.

Which Macs does it run on?

macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon and Intel. One build runs natively on both.
