Your files never leave your Mac.

What the app sends

Two things, and nothing else. When you activate a licence, DiskDuo sends the key, a hash of your Mac's hardware identifier, and the app and macOS versions. When it checks for updates, it sends the version it is running.

It never sends a file name, a folder, a path, a size, or anything about what is on your disk. There are no analytics and no crash reporting in DiskDuo at all.

What we keep

Your email address and your order, so we can send your licence and send it again if you lose it. Payment is handled by Polar, our merchant of record; we never see your card.

Your data, on request

Write to us and we will tell you everything we hold about you, or delete it.
