One scan, nine readings
Every view reads the same scan and shares the same root, selection and filter. Choose a folder in the treemap and it is still chosen in the sunburst, the outline and the map.
- Treemap — area is size, nesting is folders
- Folders — one level at a time, as cards
- Sunburst — rings go deeper as they go out
- Flame — each row is one level deeper
- Bubbles — folders packed inside their parents
- Mind Map — your largest folders, radially
- Top Sizes — the heaviest files or folders, anywhere
- Age Map — when your bytes were last touched
- Outline — every folder as an expandable list
Moving around
Double-click or press Return to drill into a folder; ⌘[ goes back and ⌘↑ goes up. The bracket keys change how deep the drawing goes. Number keys 1–9 switch views, and ⌘1–⌘7 switch sections.
Colour
Colour carries meaning rather than decoration: by kind of file, by folder, or by age. The legend says which is in use, and the same palette is used in every view so a colour means the same thing throughout.
